About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned leader in the Nigerian manufacturing and beverage sector, is seeking a talented and driven Packaging Process Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining defined packaging equipment and related processes to achieve optimal operational effectiveness, high productivity, and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment across all packaging lines.
- Interpret and successfully implement the daily production plan for your assigned shift.
- Operate both manual and automatic packaging machines in strict accordance with company standards.
- Monitor live production processes during the shift and proactively correct any negative performance trends.
- Complete accurate operator workstation administration, track performance metrics, and execute timely reporting.
- Perform routine problem-solving activities, including 5 WHYs and Quick Failure Responses (QFRs) alongside team members.
- Conduct autonomous operations encompassing Clean, Inspect, Tag, and Repair (CITR) procedures.
- Possession of a Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or foods and beverages industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
