About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned leader in the beverage sector listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, is seeking a talented and driven Packaging Team Leader. In this pivotal shift-based role, you will lead production teams to execute our comprehensive packaging plan while adhering to stringent performance criteria across quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and enforce uncompromising safety, quality, and environmental standards across all shift operations.
- Drive and maintain Visual Production Organization (VPO) implementation and support departmental milestone audits.
- Develop, track, and monitor team performance indicators (PIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- React swiftly to negative operational trends and actively participate in root-cause problem-solving activities.
- Deliver the packaging plan efficiently through continuous improvement methodologies and effective coaching of team members.
- Manage the team Managerial Control and Reporting System (MCRS) and lead team meetings and presentations.
- Possess a B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrate 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience within a fast-paced packaging process environment.
- Exhibit strong computer literacy, analytical thinking, and systematic problem-solving abilities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills to drive team performance.
- Demonstrate resilience, a bias for action, and the ability to thrive under high-pressure, shift-based schedules.
