About the Role
O.K. Isokariari & Sons (Nigeria) Limited, a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction company with over 45 years of proven expertise, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects. You will bridge design and physical delivery, directing site teams, optimizing resources, and maintaining strict adherence to budget, quality, and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets while meeting all project milestones
- Oversee site preparation, earthworks, drainage systems, and structural development for buildings and road construction
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to direct field teams effectively
- Manage procurement and deployment of heavy machinery, materials, and labor for optimal site efficiency
- Direct and mentor site supervisors, engineers, and technical staff to maintain high-performance standards
- Monitor daily site progress and deliver accurate, detailed reports to senior management
- Serve as primary liaison between the company, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Manage contract administration, including variations, project costs, and document control
- Ensure seamless communication between project sites and head office regarding logistics and payroll
- Current, active registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
- Professional membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
- Minimum 10 years of progressive construction industry experience with proven delivery of large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD
- Advanced knowledge of modern construction materials and earthmoving equipment
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities for scheduling and budget management
- Demonstrated leadership ability, technical problem-solving skills, and capacity to manage high-pressure situations
