About the Role

Westfield Consulting is a premier management consultancy firm dedicated to improving organizational performance and driving business growth. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead high-impact, bank-wide projects that grow revenue, optimize operations, ensure strict CBN and NDIC compliance, and scale innovative financial inclusion products across the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure for new product launches, core banking upgrades, and branch expansions.
  • Lead the rollout of micro-loans, group lending, POS and agent banking, savings products, USSD, and mobile applications in collaboration with marketing and risk teams.
  • Oversee core banking system integrations with NIBSS, CBN, NIMC, BVN, credit bureaus, and payment gateways.
  • Drive process re-engineering by mapping current workflows, designing optimized future states, and automating processes to reduce loan turnaround times.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by spearheading CBN and NDIC projects, including AML/CFT upgrades and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Control project scopes, timelines, and budgets while managing comprehensive risk registers and steering committee meetings.
  • Manage fintech vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure optimal SLAs and value for money.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to track long-term revenue growth, cost savings, and customer adoption rates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower or HND with Upper Credit division in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing projects within a bank, fintech, or financial services institution (Microfinance Bank experience is a strong plus).
  • PMP certification is a distinct advantage.
  • Deep working knowledge of CBN Microfinance Bank guidelines, AML/CFT regulations, the Agency Banking Framework, and the National Financial Inclusion Strategy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
