About the Role
Tempkers Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to successful completion. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, procurement, team coordination, quality assurance, and stakeholder management. This is a senior-level role offering significant responsibility for managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects within approved timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from inception through completion
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and delivery milestones
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and consultants
- Provide effective leadership to project and site teams
- Ensure quality control and compliance with designs, specifications, and industry standards
- Manage procurement activities and optimize costs without compromising quality
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project sites
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients
- Manage contract administration, variations, and claims effectively
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve project-related issues
- Bachelor's Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Minimum 10 years of relevant project management experience (15 years preferred)
- Proven track record managing construction projects valued above ₦500 million
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams in construction environments
- Membership of NIOB, NSE, or PMI strongly preferred; PMP certification is an advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities
- Competitive monthly salary: ₦500,000 - ₦700,000, commensurate with experience
