About the Role
IOTA Group is seeking an experienced Project Leader to manage high-value engineering projects in Nigeria. As a Swiss-based international firm with 27 years of expertise, we deliver customized human resource management, consultancy, and on-ground HR support to major clients in energy, industry, and infrastructure sectors worldwide. Key Responsibilities- Lead ECP projects and SMR initiatives from handover through project close-out, ensuring timely delivery in coordination with the ECP Senior Project Manager
- Manage project budgets up to $20M, overseeing activities from basic/FEED through detailed engineering, SIMOPS operations, and handover to Field Operations
- Direct all project phases including procurement, contracting, fabrication, and testing in compliance with technical specifications, HSEQ standards, budget, and schedule requirements
- Supervise project teams, ensuring HSE policy adherence and safe working practices throughout all project stages
- Oversee preparation and review of Project Execution Plans (PEP), schedules, cost estimates, and budgets
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Field Operations, Maintenance, Commercial & Procurement, and Logistics for effective interface management
- Monitor project progress using standard control methods, KPIs, and tools; identify issues and develop recovery plans
- Execute contracting strategy, manage contractor selection, and maintain constructive relationships throughout project lifecycle
- Establish and maintain accurate project documentation systems ensuring accessibility and compliance with company specifications
- University degree in engineering discipline with minimum 5 years' experience managing industrial facilities projects
- Proven exposure to brownfield or greenfield projects in international environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English with excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Strong HSE consciousness with ability to manage multiple interfaces under pressure
- Autonomous, rigorous, practical approach to project delivery
