About the Role
Code Lab IT & Engineering Services is a dynamic software and technology firm dedicated to automating services for businesses and government institutions. We are currently seeking an experienced, results-driven Project Engineer & Scrum Master to coordinate and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary projects at our Abuja office.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of technology, engineering, digital, and operational projects across the organization.
- Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Translate business and client requirements into clear project objectives, timelines, and actionable tasks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between management, multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress, identify dependencies, track risks, and proactively resolve operational blockers.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, update task boards, and report key performance indicators to management.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to strict quality standards, approved budgets, and established timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project engineering, technical coordination, operations management, or as a Scrum Master.
- Must be above 30 years of age and available to work fully on-site in Sabon-Lugbe, Abuja.
- Demonstrated practical experience utilizing Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or Azure DevOps.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 are an advantage.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
