About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Support engineering design evaluations and ensure all projects meet established budget and schedule objectives.
- Participate in ITT development, rigorous bid evaluations, and contractor selection processes.
- Support the sourcing of long-lead equipment and coordinate FEED contractor activities effectively.
- Coordinate CCAP Gate 3 deliverables and Functional Interaction Plans to maintain project momentum.
- Manage project issue resolution and oversee comprehensive change authorization processes.
- Ensure assigned work scopes are completed seamlessly in strict alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional project teams to guarantee design and construction meet stringent specifications.
- Serve as the primary interface between the Project Team and external contractors.
- Support smooth, efficient transitions between various project development stages.
- Lead the Project Management Team in effectively applying modern project management systems.
- Provide critical technical support and act as a reliable backup to the Project Manager when required.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated professional experience spanning engineering, construction, project management, and project controls.
- Broad, multi-discipline project experience within the Nigerian or global engineering sector.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of engineering design standards, technical specifications, and work processes.
- Exceptional leadership, coordination, influencing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Outstanding planning, organizational, and interface management abilities.
- Proven capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines and rapidly changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and standard project management tools.
