About the Role
South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites, Calabar, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a competent, experienced, and committed Maintenance Staff (Plumber) to join our dynamic hospitality team. We are looking for a passionate professional ready to ensure the seamless operation of our plumbing infrastructure and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a premier hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair all plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and drainage networks within the hotel property.
- Conduct routine inspections of bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas to proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
- Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to execute preventative maintenance schedules for hospitality assets.
- Maintain accurate logs of plumbing repairs, routine checks, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Proven professional experience as a Plumber, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or commercial facility management sector.
- Relevant trade certification, City and Guilds, or equivalent vocational training in plumbing and pipefitting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix complex plumbing defects efficiently.
