South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites, Calabar, in partnership with Wertvoll Consulting Services, is seeking a competent, experienced, and committed Maintenance Staff (Electrician) to join our dynamic hospitality team. We are looking for a passionate professional ready to deliver exceptional service by maintaining our electrical infrastructure to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on all electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment across the hotel.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and promptly repair electrical faults, power outages, and appliance malfunctions.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all maintenance work, repairs, and inventory of electrical spare parts.
- Ensure full compliance with local safety regulations, building codes, and hotel operational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other maintenance and housekeeping team members to address guest requests and facility issues swiftly.
- Possess relevant trade certifications, a diploma, or equivalent qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience working as an electrician, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or commercial facilities sector.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for safety and detail.
