About the Role
Egbin Power Plc, located in Lagos, is one of the biggest additions to the electricity industry in Nigeria and operates as the largest single generating power station in Sub-Saharan Africa. We are dedicated to meeting the rapidly rising demand for reliable electricity in Lagos and its environs through engineering excellence and operational efficiency. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Engineer to provide technical leadership, coordinate multidisciplinary project activities, and ensure successful project delivery from planning to closeout.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and monitor assigned capital projects using critical path and earned value analysis.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering elements, review tasks, and ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, manage customer requirements, lead change request activities, and obtain deliverable acceptance.
- Monitor project quality assurance, manage budgets, resource planning, and risk assessments.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and NDPR data protection regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on project management and field engineering experience within a demanding industrial environment.
- Recognized project management certifications and HSE training certifications will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with strong written, verbal communication, and cross-functional team coordination skills.
