About the Role

Beam Energy Limited is an established Integrated Engineering Solution Provider incorporated in 2003, delivering high-quality services across electrical, instrumentation, control, automation, power infrastructure, and mechanical sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria to drive successful project execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive project budgets, time schedules, design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Monitor and control allocated resources to ensure effective, efficient, and timely service delivery while adhering to cost procedures.
  • Supervise technicians and sub-contractors on-site during installation, ensuring strict compliance with quality control standards.
  • Develop bills of quantities for projects and provide vital technical support to the proposal and business development team during tendering.
  • Ensure regular preparation and submission of project progress reports while maintaining cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage unforeseen crises proactively to guarantee successful project execution and optimal performance of subordinates.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven project engineering experience within the oil and gas, power, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and technical drawing interpretation.
  • Strong understanding of contract documents, financial management, and budgeting procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, crisis management, and communication skills.
