About the Role
Collection Developments is a dynamic real estate firm dedicated to creating exceptional properties and places that deliver lasting commercial and social value. We are seeking an accomplished Project Director to lead our upcoming large-scale developments in Nigeria. In this executive leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring our high standards of quality, safety, and commercial success are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Hold overall accountability for project performance across programme, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Chair weekly project reviews and make final decisions on escalated design, commercial, and programme matters.
- Approve major procurement decisions, change orders, subcontract awards, and consultant appointments.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the internal project team to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Report monthly project status, financial performance, and risk assessments directly to the Managing Director.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 18 years of construction industry experience, with at least 8 years in a Project Director or equivalent senior leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-block residential or mixed-use developments, specifically within Lagos State.
- Deep working knowledge of the Lagos regulatory environment and local utility authorities.
- Active membership in professional bodies such as NIOB, NSE, or COREN registration.
