About the Role

The Big Smile Foundation (TBSF) is a leading humanitarian organization in Nigeria dedicated to empowering women and girls to achieve self-reliance, end violence, and fight poverty. In partnership with UNMAS, TBSF is implementing a vital Mine Action project supporting vulnerable and at-risk communities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator to provide strategic direction, manage program implementation, and ensure all activities align with our organizational goals and donor standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day program activities, ensuring project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met according to established work plans.
  • Serve as the primary focal point for field teams, local partners, community leadership, and relevant government or sectoral bodies.
  • Lead the drafting and aggregation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports, donor progress summaries, and impactful case studies.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to track budget burn rates, monitor activity expenditures, and manage logistics for field deployments.
  • Supervise field officers and project assistants, ensuring clear task delegation and adherence to organizational guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of demonstrated experience in project coordination, grant implementation, or program support within the humanitarian or non-profit sector.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, Google Workspace, and data tracking software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including advanced report writing and proposal development capabilities.
  • Familiarity with local operating environments and community engagement practices in Nigeria.
