About the Role
Iconic Open University, a leading NUC-licensed private open and distance learning institution in Nigeria, is currently seeking experienced academics to join our team as Project Co-Supervisors in Public Health. In this vital role, you will help maintain our high standards of academic quality and integrity by mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students through their research projects within a flexible learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Public Health.
- Ensure adherence to institutional academic standards and research ethics.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students throughout their research lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal academic teams to evaluate project proposals and dissertations.
- Participate in virtual progress reviews and academic assessments as required.
- Must not be below the rank of Senior Lecturer; Readers and Professors are strongly preferred.
- Possession of a minimum of a Ph.D. in Public Health or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven track record of postgraduate research supervision and publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- No conflict of interest, such as recent employment with Iconic Open University or close personal ties to current staff and students.
- Prior experience in an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environment is a distinct advantage.
