About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), invites applications from qualified academics to serve as Project Co-Supervisors for our Mass Communication programmes. Key Responsibilities- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects in Mass Communication.
- Ensure adherence to institutional academic quality, integrity, and excellence standards.
- Provide constructive academic feedback and guidance throughout the research lifecycle.
- Participate in virtual due-diligence interactions and evaluation processes.
- Must hold a minimum of a Ph.D. in Mass Communication or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Must currently hold an academic rank of Senior Lecturer, Reader, or Professor.
- Demonstrated track record of postgraduate supervision and recent publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Must be free from any conflicts of interest, including recent employment or close personal relationships with university staff.
- Prior experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environments is a distinct advantage.
- Flexible contractual engagement with clearly defined duties and terms of reference.
