Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured History lessons in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and historical inquiry.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, departmental meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral assessments.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in History, Education (History), or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, professional ethics, and high educational standards.
- Prior teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting will be considered an added advantage.
