About the Role
The Centre for Social Cohesion, Peace and Empowerment (CENSCOPE) is seeking a dedicated and organized Project Assistant to join our team in Maiduguri, Borno State. In this role, you will provide essential programmatic and administrative support to ensure our field operations, documentation, and logistics run smoothly throughout project implementation. You will be instrumental in supporting our three-year project, funded by the Malala Fund, which advances Gender-Responsive Education Budgeting (GREB) and secures crucial budget lines for the re-entry and retention of married, pregnant, and parenting girls in education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable logistical and administrative support for field missions, workshops, and community trainings.
- Maintain accurate activity records, participant attendance sheets, consent forms, and comprehensive project documentation.
- Support community scheduling, mobilization, and consistent follow-up with project participants and monitors.
- Assist with data entry and ensure the safe, confidential handling and storage of sensitive participant information.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant social science or administrative field with strong organizational skills.
- 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience in NGO administration, project support, or field operations.
- Based in, or able to work effectively across, the target LGAs in Borno State, with proficiency in Hausa and/or Kanuri strongly preferred.
- Computer literacy, specifically with MS Office applications, alongside exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data confidentiality.
