About the Role
Committed To Good (CTG) is an award-winning private sector company that enables humanitarian and development projects in conflict zones. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Assistant (Vacancy ID: VAC-69828) to join our team in Nigeria. Working under the direct supervision of the DTM Programme Officer and in close coordination with the DTM Senior Programme Associate, your primary role will be to provide essential administrative and project support for the successful implementation of the Displacement Tracking Matrix project.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and administrative coordination of project activities.
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information and data on specific project topics.
- Monitor budgets, verify fund availability, obtain necessary approvals, and update financial records.
- Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, presentations, and statistical tables.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions while maintaining accurate files and records.
- Engage and liaise with diverse organizational units, governmental authorities, UN agencies, and external partners.
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, NGOs, or government institutions in a multicultural setting.
- Familiarity with migration-related subject areas, UN programming, and financial rules and regulations.
- Strong logistics skills, computer literacy (MS Office), and high attention to detail for accurate data collection.
- Working knowledge of local languages spoken in the Northeast, Northwest, and North-Central regions of Nigeria.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and multi-tasking abilities with a high standard of ethics and confidentiality.
