About the Role
Aldelia Limited is recruiting a skilled and dedicated Project Architect (In-House) to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary architectural authority across all company facilities, managing capital projects and facilities management services from initial design concept through to construction supervision and final documentation. This is a multi-site role offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on our physical infrastructure while adhering to the highest international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Articulate and develop original conceptual architectural designs, detailed drawings, and specifications for various project stages.
- Provide day-to-day on-site supervision of construction works, ensuring strict contractor adherence to approved designs and quality standards.
- Review and validate architectural designs submitted by external consultants to guarantee scope and regulatory compliance.
- Manage facilities management works, special projects, and ensure accurate as-built drawings are maintained for all locations.
- Liaise closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to achieve fully integrated and coordinated design outputs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
- Minimum of 14 years of post-qualification experience in architectural consultancy, construction, or a major corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in managing the full architectural lifecycle of major infrastructure projects, preferably within the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and a thorough understanding of building codes, construction standards, and quality control procedures.
