About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and well-connected Project Acquisition Officer to drive our business expansion in infrastructure, construction, and government-related projects. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and key stakeholders, identifying high-value opportunities and ensuring our strategic positioning in the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify upcoming and potential construction, road building, and infrastructure projects across various Nigerian states.
  • Establish, build, and maintain professional relationships with relevant government ministries, departments, agencies, and key industry officials.
  • Gather, analyze, and report actionable intelligence on proposed, approved, and upcoming government tenders and procurement plans.
  • Conduct site visits, navigate government offices, and maintain a robust database of project opportunities and stakeholder contacts.
  • Collaborate closely with the bidding and tendering team to supply necessary information for accurate and competitive bid preparation.
  • Represent Tongyi Allied Mining Limited professionally at stakeholder engagements, industry meetings, and project site visits.
  • Draft comprehensive regular reports on government engagements, emerging project opportunities, and market trends for management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, government contracting, project acquisition, or tendering within Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage a strong network of contacts within government ministries and construction sectors.
  • Solid understanding of public procurement procedures, contract processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and reporting skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across different Nigerian states for project sourcing and follow-up.
