About the Role
Bolton White Hotels & Apartments, a premier hospitality destination conveniently located in the heart of Abuja near major business and leisure hubs, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant. In this vital role, you will be responsible for upholding our high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring every visitor enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay with us.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across guest rooms and designated public areas in accordance with hotel guidelines.
- Ensure all guest rooms are fully furnished, properly equipped, and well-stocked with amenities and linens.
- Adhere strictly to hotel procedures regarding lost and found items, handling all guest property with honesty and care.
- Complete accurate housekeeping operational reports, including room status updates, inventory counts, and deep cleaning records.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly following manufacturer instructions and hotel safety protocols.
- Identify, document, and promptly report any maintenance issues or damages in rooms and facilities to the appropriate department.
- Comply fully with all health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements (HSE) as outlined in company policies.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent professional qualification in hospitality management.
- Previous proven experience working in a housekeeping or cleaning role within a reputable hotel or hospitality establishment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job.
