We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Project Accountant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, playing a pivotal role in transforming our clients' financial operations and ensuring successful system integration.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile various company accounts seamlessly within complex ERP implementation projects.
- Review and implement comprehensive ledgers covering assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity to deliver actionable financial insights to management.
- Monitor and rigorously review creditors and debtors ledgers to optimize working capital.
- Accurately record trading activities and configure them within new enterprise systems to reflect true trading positions through Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, and General Ledger reviews.
- Ensure the highest quality, adequacy, and accuracy of all financial documentation and management reports delivered within strict project deadlines.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and financial systems implementation.
- Mandatory ICAN certification.
- Deep working knowledge and practical application of IFRS standards.
- Exceptional proficiency in using advanced spreadsheet applications for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and consistently meet strict deadlines.
