About the Role
Residency Hotels Limited, a renowned name in luxury hospitality, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ologolo, Lagos State. Building upon a rich tradition of exceptional guest experiences, we require a meticulous financial professional to maintain accurate records, manage daily accounting activities, and provide insights that drive our business forward in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Monitor cash flow and enforce effective internal financial control measures across hotel operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile stock records with various operational departments.
- Ensure strict compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company financial policies.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and liaise seamlessly with external auditors and consultants.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software applications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Proximity to Ologolo, Chevron, Jakande, or Osapa London in Lekki, Lagos State, is highly recommended for easy commuting.
