About the Role
The Restored Heart Foundation is a dynamic non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting equitable access to healthcare, education, and empowerment for women and youth in Nigeria. Through our leadership fellowship programs, we address governance deficits while nurturing emerging leaders to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We are currently seeking a strategic and driven Programs Manager based in Abuja to lead our program departments, ensure impactful project implementation, and drive sustainable community development across our project locations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day implementation of assigned project activities in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop comprehensive workplans, activity schedules, budgets, and essential program documents.
- Coordinate field activities, project partners, volunteers, and key stakeholders effectively.
- Track program outputs, outcomes, timelines, and budgets to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Prepare high-quality program reports, compelling proposals, and regular updates for donors.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and the rigorous documentation of the Foundation's impact.
- Identify potential program risks and recommend practical, proactive mitigation measures.
- Contribute to resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, and new program development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Project Management, International Relations, or a related field.
- A relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification will be a distinct advantage.
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in program and project management within an NGO, development sector, or social-impact organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing community-based projects, grant writing, and producing detailed donor reports.
- Strong stakeholder management, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Must be based in Abuja, Nigeria, and demonstrate exceptional integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.
