About the Role
Kainuwa Sustainable Development Foundations (KSDF) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Advisor - Service Delivery Systems to support the Gombe State Delivery and Insights Unit (SDIU). In this vital role, you will help strengthen the state's health-system architecture by connecting data, management decisions, and coordinated implementation to improve human capital and health service delivery across underserved communities in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Review service-delivery findings generated by the DIU and technical forums to identify actionable issues beyond routine discussions.
- Work closely with GSPHCDA and HSMB focal persons to track and resolve bottlenecks in staffing, facility functionality, referrals, and service readiness.
- Coordinate with the DIU to interpret HRH registries, biometric attendance, and service-volume data to ensure optimal workforce deployment and productivity.
- Prioritize pragmatic improvements in record completeness, monthly validation, and NHMIS tools before recommending complex digital products.
- Serve as the primary DMU interface for committees covering PHC, HRH, service delivery, MPDSR, and nutrition.
- Produce monthly service-delivery bottleneck briefs, action trackers, and cross-institutional problem-solving notes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Health Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in health-sector management, service delivery, and health systems strengthening.
- Strong understanding of RMNCAH+N, HRH, quality assurance, and facility operations within the Nigerian health sector.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating government agencies, implementation partners, and senior officials.
