About the Role
Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation (SCHAF), an Ibadan-based non-profit established in 2012, is seeking a passionate and driven Programme Manager to coordinate our public health initiatives, research activities, and stakeholder engagements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in improving the well-being of people living with sickle cell disease (PLWSCD) across Nigeria through efficient programme planning, documentation, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate programme outreach activities, workshops, meetings, and hospital visits to facilities such as UCH and Adeoyo.
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic records, beneficiary databases, and confidential medical information.
- Support research activities, conduct literature searches, and maintain updated grant and funding opportunity trackers.
- Monitor social media platforms, website enquiries, and assist with general administrative duties.
- Prepare periodic programme, management, and impact reports for SCHAF leadership and partners.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in programme management, NGO work, or community development.
- Strong writing, documentation, and organizational skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; fluency in Yoruba is an added advantage.
- Must reside in Ibadan, as the role involves local hospital visits alongside a home-based work arrangement.
