About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Programme Assistant - Affirmative Procurement (NPSA 5, PSA) to join our team in Nigeria to drive impactful administrative and programmatic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the financial management of the Programme Unit, including creating projects in Quantum and PRISM, preparing budget revisions, and processing payments.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, events, and official missions, including travel arrangements and drafting meeting minutes.
  • Support resource mobilization strategies by compiling and processing donor documentation and maintaining accurate databases.
  • Facilitate knowledge building and knowledge sharing by supporting staff training, documenting best practices, and assisting with gender statistics initiatives.
  • Provide programmatic support for the formulation, management, and monitoring of projects, including work plans, budget tracking, and audit implementation.

Qualifications
  • Completion of secondary education is required; a University degree in social sciences, political science, international studies, public administration, economics, law, or a related field is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative or programme management and support.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a computerized environment using multiple office software packages.
  • Desirable experience in the use of ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud (Quantum) and supporting collaborative teams.
  • Strong core competencies in gender awareness and sensitivity, accountability, effective communication, and inclusive collaboration.
