About the Role
Racham Empowerment and Humanitarian Foundation (REHF) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. REHF is a faith-inspired, non-governmental organization committed to uplifting orphans, widows, vulnerable children, women, and indigent communities by combating poverty, food insecurity, and social exclusion. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and monitoring sustainable humanitarian relief and long-term community development projects that restore dignity and create measurable social impact across urban slums and rural regions.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute community-based humanitarian and empowerment programs aligned with the foundation's strategic goals.
- Monitor ongoing project activities, conduct field visits, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, impact assessments, and documentation for internal stakeholders and donors.
- Collaborate closely with community leaders, local partners, and government agencies to foster strong relationships and community ownership.
- Identify emerging community needs and contribute innovative ideas for future intervention strategies and grant proposals.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in program management within the non-profit or humanitarian sector.
- Strong understanding of community development issues, vulnerability assessments, and poverty alleviation strategies in Nigeria.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse teams and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
