About the Role

The Samuel Olutuyi Foundation is seeking a dynamic and driven Program Manager to join our growing team in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of our diverse community initiatives. You will also spearhead critical fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and grantee oversight, helping us expand our reach in education, water access, and STEM development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate grantee activities to ensure funds are utilized effectively and aligned with project objectives.
  • Track project milestones, aggregate progress updates, and proactively address potential bottlenecks or delays.
  • Draft comprehensive grant reports, impact summaries, and proposals for current and prospective funders.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new funding opportunities, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
  • Maintain an organized funding pipeline, track application deadlines, and follow up on submissions.
  • Coordinate impactful programs and events, including STEM initiatives, essay competitions, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, partner organizations, volunteers, and community leaders.
  • Manage organizational social media channels to highlight program successes, milestones, and impact stories.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant academic discipline.
  • 1 to 3+ years of professional experience in program coordination, nonprofit management, or grants administration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in utilizing social media platforms for professional and organizational outreach.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and stay highly organized.
  • Must be based in or willing to commute to Akure or the broader Ondo State region.
