About the Role
LOPTERRA is seeking a dedicated and strategic Program Manager to drive the effective delivery and continuous improvement of our development and protection programs. In this role, you will coordinate implementation, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure activities align with our organizational mission and survivor-centered principles. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of assigned programs ensuring delivery within timelines and budgets.
- Ensure all activities adhere strictly to GBV, safeguarding, survivor-centered, and trauma-informed programming principles.
- Monitor program implementation, identify operational risks, and propose practical solutions to enhance overall reach and sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with government bodies, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at high-level meetings, technical working groups, coordination forums, and stakeholder engagements.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts by supporting the development of concept notes, grant applications, proposals, and donor budgets.
- Collaborate with the MEL team to track key performance indicators, outcomes, and progress against established targets.
- Prepare comprehensive, high-quality program reports, success stories, case studies, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of program staff, volunteers, and project personnel.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in program and project management within NGOs or international development.
- Demonstrated expertise in gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, protection, women's rights, and safeguarding programming.
- Strong understanding of survivor-centered and trauma-informed approaches in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Proven experience working with donors, managing grant implementation, and contributing to successful proposal writing.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
