Your core duties will include:
- Providing robust academic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development within Public Relations.
- Delivering engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, utilizing modern educational technologies and pedagogical methods.
- Supervising postgraduate students at the Master's and PhD levels.
- Contributing significantly to departmental research output through publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participating in administrative duties, faculty meetings, mentorship of junior faculty, and community service initiatives.
Candidates applying for this professorial chair must meet the following rigorous criteria:
- Must possess a PhD in Public Relations or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated outstanding academic leadership with a substantial and verifiable record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international outlets.
- Extensive experience in postgraduate teaching, student mentorship, and thesis supervision.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern teaching and research delivery.
