Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Physiotherapy through innovative teaching, curriculum development, and instructional delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish extensively in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure external research grants.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate (MSc and PhD) student research projects and dissertations.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community engagement programs.
- Establish collaborative partnerships with local and international healthcare institutions, professional bodies, and industry stakeholders.
- Possession of a PhD in Physiotherapy or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess a first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- Demonstrated substantial years of tertiary teaching, academic administration, and extensive research publication records in reputable local and international journals.
- Evidence of academic leadership, ability to attract research funding, and successful supervision of postgraduate students.
- Current registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB) or relevant professional licensing body.
