Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Physiotherapy.
- Design, update, and deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in physiotherapy and related medical rehabilitation fields.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a culture of professional growth, ethical standards, and academic rigor.
- Leverage digital tools and modern pedagogical techniques to enhance teaching, learning, and research outcomes.
- Engage in university service, community outreach, and institutional development initiatives.
- Possess a good Ph.D. with specialization in Physiotherapy or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a robust track record of academic and administrative leadership within a tertiary institution.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a university setting.
- Extensive portfolio of relevant publications in local and international reputable journals.
- Strong digital literacy and technological skills applicable to modern physiotherapy education and research.
