Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Occupational Therapy by designing and delivering comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
- Conduct high-impact research, secure research grants, and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, including Master's and PhD candidates, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to the professional development of the academic department.
- Engage in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community service initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare institutions and professional bodies to enhance clinical training and curriculum relevance.
- Possession of a PhD in Occupational Therapy or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess a first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division; or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
- Substantial and progressive university teaching experience at the senior lecturer or associate professor level.
- A robust portfolio of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals and demonstrated capacity for academic research leadership.
