Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Nursing Science by developing and updating curricula that meet national and international standards.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in nursing and related health sciences.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Lead departmental accreditation processes with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and the NUC.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders, healthcare institutions, and international partners to enhance community outreach and practical training.
- Participate in administrative duties, faculty meetings, and university committees as assigned by the university management.
- Must hold a PhD in Nursing Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must possess academic progression and rank of a Professor with a robust portfolio of scholarly publications.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching, curriculum development, and academic administration.
