Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and professional leadership in the Department of Nursing Science.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in nursing and related health sciences.
- Initiate, develop, and manage impactful research projects that address contemporary healthcare issues.
- Publish high-quality scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Engage in curriculum development, departmental administration, and community service initiatives.
- A Ph.D. degree in Nursing Science or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of full-time teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and successfully supervise student research projects at various levels.
- A robust portfolio of significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable national and international outlets.
- Active membership in relevant professional nursing bodies and regulatory councils.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital learning platforms.
- Competitive remuneration structured on the KDUTSS 07 salary scale, comparable to Federal Universities in Nigeria.
- An initial two-year probationary appointment with opportunities for confirmation up to the retiring age.
