Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Medical Laboratory Science.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in advanced medical laboratory science courses.
- Drive innovative research initiatives and publish high-impact papers in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to align with global standards and modern technological advancements.
- Collaborate with faculty members and industry partners to secure research grants and foster institutional development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees to support overall institutional governance.
- Possession of a good Ph.D. with a specialization in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of academic leadership, administrative competence, and mentorship.
- Strong portfolio of relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
