Key Responsibilities- Provide academic and administrative leadership in the Department of Glass and Silicate Technology.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, including Masters and PhD candidates.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish in reputable domestic and international journals.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to meet global academic and industry standards.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees to drive institutional growth.
- Engage in community service and forge academic or industry partnerships relevant to the field.
- Must currently hold the rank of Professor in Glass and Silicate Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Possess a minimum of twenty (20) scholarly publications, with at least sixteen (16) in print.
- Must have at least four (4) publications featured in three (3) different and regularly published foreign index journals.
- Demonstrated evidence of successful supervision to completion of at least three (3) Masters degrees and one (1) PhD degree.
- Strong track record of teaching, research, and academic leadership in a recognized tertiary institution.
