Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic scholars for the position of Professor in Entrepreneurial Studies within the Faculty of Management Sciences. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies, you will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and community service. Your core duties will include:
- Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in Entrepreneurial Studies and related management fields.
- Conducting high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contributing significantly to the academic body of knowledge.
- Supervising research projects for undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students to successful completion.
- Curriculum development and updating course materials to reflect current global entrepreneurial trends and local market needs.
- Participating in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
Candidates applying for this prestigious academic position must meet the following criteria:
- Must currently hold the rank of Professor or be a senior academic ready for progression with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Studies or a closely related field.
- Must possess a minimum of twenty (20) scholarly publications, with at least sixteen (16) in print.
- Must have at least four (4) publications featured in a minimum of three (3) different and regularly published foreign index journals.
- Must provide verifiable evidence of successful supervision of at least three (3) Masters degrees and one (1) PhD degree to completion.
