The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supervising research, and contributing to the University's academic and administrative excellence. The role also involves engaging in research activities and income-generating projects that enhance the University's academic profile and industry impact.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
- Develop curricula and course materials suitable for multiple learning platforms.
- Collaborate with fellow academics to enhance teaching methods and expand departmental knowledge.
- Set, administer, and grade assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Conduct original research and produce publications, proposals, journal articles, and books.
- Participate actively in meetings, conferences, and academic events within and outside the institution.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and academic support to students and colleagues.
- Stay abreast of developments in the field through continuous reading and publishing.
- A Ph.D. in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 12 years’ verifiable experience in university teaching, research, and administration.
- Must currently hold the academic rank of Reader or equivalent.
- Demonstrated record of substantial publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications and virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
