Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the College of Social and Management Sciences.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in Criminology and Security Studies.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish extensively in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to meet National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and industry needs.
- Engage in community service, departmental administration, and institutional advancement initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- At least ten (10) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated record of outstanding academic leadership and substantial publications in reputable peer-reviewed outlets.
- Significant experience in postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and curriculum development.
- Strong ICT proficiency and excellent communication, research, and interpersonal skills.
- Current professional registration and valid practising licence where applicable.
