Key Responsibilities- Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Criminology and Security Studies using innovative, student-centred pedagogical methods.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research dissertations and theses.
- Drive institutional research output through high-impact publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Secure competitive research grants and foster strategic collaborations with industry partners and security agencies.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, departmental administration, and interdisciplinary academic initiatives.
- Mentor junior faculty members and foster a culture of academic rigor and professional integrity.
- Must hold a PhD in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related relevant field from a reputable university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of extensive academic teaching and research experience at a tertiary level.
- Possess a robust and verifiable track record of scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Strong proficiency in IT skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and virtual learning platforms.
