Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic leadership in teaching, research, and community service within the Department of Community Health Science.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum content to meet national regulatory standards and global best practices in public health.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, ensuring high-quality instructional delivery using modern pedagogical methods.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate theses at the Master's and PhD levels.
- Publish high-impact research papers in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating departmental culture.
- Engage in institutional governance, committee work, and community outreach initiatives that advance public health awareness.
- Must possess a PhD in Community Health Science or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Provide a substantial and verifiable record of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic outlets.
- Possess a proven track record of successful postgraduate supervision and academic leadership.
- Demonstrate strong ICT proficiency and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
