Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the prestigious position of Professor in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice within our esteemed Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. As a Professor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmacy education, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, and driving impactful research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee assignments as required.
- Engage in community outreach and professional service that elevate the profile of the university.
- Must currently hold the rank of Professor or be a Reader ready for progression, specializing in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice.
- Demonstrate a robust academic portfolio with a minimum of twenty (20) scholarly publications.
- At least sixteen (16) publications must be in print, with four (4) published in at least three (3) different and regularly published foreign index journals.
- Provide verifiable evidence of successful supervision to completion of at least three (3) Master's degrees and one (1) PhD degree.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
