Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering by developing and updating curriculum aligned with global industry standards.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in mechatronics and related engineering disciplines.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure external research grants.
- Drive departmental initiatives, foster industry partnerships, and contribute to the overall strategic goals of the university.
- Participate in academic administration, curriculum committee work, and faculty mentorship programs.
- Hold a Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a closely related engineering field.
- Possess a proven track record of academic excellence with substantial years of teaching and research experience at the university level, currently holding the rank of Professor or a senior Associate Professor ready for advancement.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable international journals.
- Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision and grant-securing capabilities.
- Registration with relevant professional engineering bodies such as COREN is mandatory.
