In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our accounting students, driving cutting-edge research, and providing exceptional academic leadership within the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Accounting.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Design, review, and update accounting curricula to meet global and NUC standards.
- Engage in community service and institutional development initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD in Accounting or a directly related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- Demonstrated record of substantial publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international outlets.
- Proven track record of successful postgraduate supervision and academic mentorship.
- Proficiency in ICT-driven teaching methods and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence with relevant bodies (e.g., ICAN, ANAN).
