The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE), established to address the critical manpower needs in Nigeria's healthcare sector, is seeking an accomplished and visionary academic to join our esteemed faculty as a Professor. Following our recent transformation from a monotechnic into a comprehensive university comprising six faculties and 17 departments, we are committed to combating the brain drain by delivering world-class education. Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality academic instruction, lecturing, and mentoring to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Allied Health Sciences.
- Lead cutting-edge research initiatives, secure research grants, and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Design, review, and update curriculum structures to reflect global best practices and the changing needs of healthcare service delivery.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community service initiatives.
- Possession of a Ph.D. or terminal professional degree in a relevant Allied Health Sciences discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must currently hold the rank of Reader/Associate Professor or demonstrate equivalent extensive years of professorial teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A robust portfolio of scholarly publications in high-impact journals and evidence of successful postgraduate student supervision.
- Demonstrated competence, impeccable integrity, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.
