We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Technician to join our established team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive industry expertise to support complex production operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance with all relevant industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and optimize daily oil and gas production operations across designated brownfield facilities.
- Conduct routine field activities, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting to minimize operational downtime.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to execute well interventions and production enhancement projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safe work practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, incident reports, and production performance data for management review.
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in oil and gas production operations.
- Proven hands-on experience working within Brownfield operations and mature asset environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of upstream production systems, field activities, and associated machinery.
- Exceptional commitment to HSE standards, regulatory compliance, and a safety-first workplace culture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure operational environments.
- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in a related engineering or science discipline.
