About the Role

Pacific International Drilling S.A. is a rapidly growing global ultra-deepwater drilling contractor operating one of the newest and most technologically advanced fleets in the world. Headquartered in Houston with a strong presence in Nigeria, we are committed to operational excellence, environmental protection, and safety. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Master / Captain (Offshore Installation Manager) to lead vessel operations on our high-specification drillships in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the ultimate command of the vessel and designated Person in Charge (PIC) in compliance with IMO protocols.
  • Ensure the absolute safety of all on-board personnel, rigorous protection of the marine environment, and preservation of the vessel and all associated assets.
  • Directly support and oversee all complex offshore drilling vessel operations and maritime navigation activities.

Qualifications
  • Possess an Unlimited/Unrestricted Master (STCW II/2) license.
  • Demonstrated command experience as a vessel Master on unlimited tonnage vessels.
  • Extensive operational background including the use of on-board stability programs, backed by a minimum of 15 years of total industry experience.
  • Educational background including SSCE/WAEC/GCE O'Level, with OND, HND, or B.Sc. degrees preferred.
  • Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria with fluent oral and written English communication skills.
